Game appearances[]

"Beware of the Miku Miku Germs♪" first appeared in the first Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA where it can be unlocked by clearing "Moon". It was also featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade and was also one of the first songs in the initial version of the arcade game as with the other songs previously featured in the first Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA game. The song would later be featured in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Dreamy Theater with the exact same rhythm game from the first Project DIVA game, though with updated high-definition visuals.

The song returned in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd (and Dreamy Theater 2nd) where it can be unlocked by clearing "Melt". It featured the exact same PV it had in its predecessor. The song also made an appearance in Hatsune Miku: Live Stage Producer as an available song for the player to play in their club. The song also appeared in Miku Flick/02, where it was purchasable in the "Lovely_Pack 01" DLC. In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, "Beware of the Miku Miku Germs♪" was included in the Future Sound song pack. The song makes a return in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix+ where it is included in the Extra Song Pack. It would also be included in the original Project DIVA MegaMix where it is featured in the Song Pack 16 DLC. Its PV modified in the latter to include the ToonShader graphics, though it has the same rhythm game it has in Project DIVA Arcade in Arcade Mode.
